The logo design for Bolla Lounge Bar, located within the iconic Mykonos Grand Hotel & Resort, is built around a name with distinctive meaning and aesthetic value. The word “Bolla,” which in Italian means “bubble,” served as the foundation for a visual identity that exudes elegance, effortless luxury and the essence of the Cycladic summer.
The choice of name is no coincidence ∙ bubbles symbolize the joy of the moment, freedom and euphoria – much like the feeling one experiences while enjoying a chilled drink overlooking the Aegean Sea.
It is the element that connects the experience of the Lounge Bar with the atmosphere of relaxation, cosmopolitan flair and refined celebration offered by the Mykonos Grand.
The logo was designed to give visual form to this experience. Its core visual language is based on circular, organic shapes that evoke the image of bubbles rising from a glass of sparkling wine or a cocktail – light, fluid and subtly ascending, much like the feeling one experiences when surrendering to the magic of the place.


The typography is clean, modern and versatile, with rounded details that enhance the sense of flow and softness. It creates a subtly luxurious style without excess, exuding elegance and calm — much like the atmosphere of the Lounge itself.
The color palette is inspired by the natural environment of Mykonos and the experience offered by Bolla.
Champagne tones, sunset peach, seafoam blue and subtle iridescent textures come together to create a sense of freshness, warmth and island chic aesthetics. These are colors that evoke prosecco in the afternoon light, the sun’s reflections on the water and the coolness of a premium cocktail under the summer sky.
