In the heart of Nafpaktos, just a few steps from the picturesque Venetian harbor and the city’s cobbled alleys, a hospitality gem stands proudly: the Pepos Mansion.
It is an authentic neoclassical building dating back to 1850, a traditional mansion transformed with passion, care and respect for its history into a distinctive boutique hotel with character.
The mansion bears the name Pepos, a figure defined by tenderness, warmth and finesse – qualities that have infused every corner of the guesthouse. The building preserves its authentic architectural elements, from the stone cellars and wooden ceilings to the old balconies overlooking the Gulf of Patras.
The feeling it conveys is not simply traditional – it is familiar, almost family like. Each of the seven unique rooms of the Pepos Mansion carries the name and character of a member of Pepos’ family. The decor is the result of personal selection and curation: handcrafted furniture, vintage details, fine fabrics and soft lighting create an atmosphere reminiscent of a scene from an old Greek film.
It is not just another place to stay – it is a life experience, a journey through time and authentic Greek hospitality.
The logo – A mirror of the past
The visual identity of the Pepos Mansion is equally thoughtful and meaningful.
The logo was based on a distinctive antique mirror found inside the house. This object is not merely a decorative element∙ it symbolizes the union of past and present, the search for inner perspective and the reflection of the place’s identity.
The mirror in the logo is framed by subtle decorative curves, while the calligraphic typeface evokes handwritten letters and journals of another era. The result is a logo that immediately conveys the character of the mansion: elegant, romantic, nostalgic and welcoming.
An experience of authenticity
Guests of the Pepos Mansion do not stay merely for sleep.
They live the experience. They wake to the sound of seagulls and the aroma of freshly roasted coffee. They wander through the alleys of Nafpaktos and return to the warmth of a home created to host.
