The creation of the brand identity for the Amathus Beach Hotel Cyprus in Limassol was based on a deep understanding of the hotel’s history, location and long-standing presence as a point of reference for Cypriot hospitality. The objective was to shape a brand that expresses luxury with discretion, authenticity without pretence and experience as substance rather than surface.
The visual identity draws inspiration from the Mediterranean landscape, the light of Cyprus and the sense of calm created through proximity to the sea. The colour palette moves within soft, earthy and aquatic tones, creating an atmosphere of serenity and refinement, while natural patterns and botanical elements reinforce the connection to nature and the concept of wellbeing.

Typography was selected with an emphasis on timelessness and clarity, supporting the brand’s character as a luxury destination without excess. Every element was designed to function consistently and harmoniously, preserving the recognisability of Amathus across all communication channels.
The visual system is applied with a unified philosophy across printed material, wine lists, menus, gift vouchers, spa & wellness collateral and every touchpoint between the brand and the guest.
Photography and illustration are not used decoratively, but narratively, conveying the hotel’s experience through imagery defined by quality, balance and understated luxury.
